All dogs are welcome. if your dog feels more comfortable working on its own then individual 1/2hr sessions can be booked. It is helpful to have skills such as a sit, down, stand, wait and recall.

Hoopers
Hoopers – The following introductory Information has been kindly written by Angela Lucas
Hooperholics UK began because we wanted to share the message Give it a Go! Simply put, Hoopers just involves allowing the dog to use a set of obstacles at a natural pace, without needing to jump, turn tightly or twist. Benefits from practicing Hoopers include building core fitness and balance, and growing a closer confident bond between dog and handler. Mostly, dogs have fun in Hoopers. There is nothing to ask the dog which is difficult, and the emphasis is on the handler to do the challenges. Hooperholics UK are the only Hooper society in the country which have a licence to coach Hooperlevels, a method which combines teaching, training, and a progress assessment in one. There are 10 levels for the handler to pass, each one increasing their Hooper prowess. Every level has 10 exercises to practice, each aiming at a specific skill, like stay, running on, turning, and new handling skills like the Away and the Out. What makes Hoopers so popular is the fact you can start very easily with just a few bits of equipment, and then join up with a Hooper group to keep going.

Canine Connections – NEW COURSE
The course is designed to help build your relationship with your dog, whilst having fun and introducing new ideas. Each 6 week course will cover slightly different topics, such as confidence and optimism, building on their recall in different situations eg. with distractions and novelty. Off lead walking so your dog chooses to stay with you. Building on calmness and the ability to chill whilst other dogs are working. This is a taste of what the courses can cover. We work to make the lessons fun and enjoyable for both ends of the lead.
